Took a long overdue trip to Kyoto last weekend. One goal this year is to visit Kyoto at least once a month. It would be silly not to as it’s only a two hour drive from Nagoya. As a bonus I got to meet up with the man behind I Do Haiku You, Sean Lotman and his fiancé. We spent the evening talking about photography, 60s and 70s South East Asian pop, and of course Japan. If you haven’t checked out any 60s or 70s Thai pop you really should do.
Sean Breslin Cycled since I was a kid, moved to Japan in 2001, bought my first 'serious' camera in 2005. Spent the later half of the 1990s travelling in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Nepal, Japan, and the Philippines and wish I'd photographed a lot more back then.
