Cambodia & Photography: Net Fishing in Siem Reap

I hung out with this man for a couple of hours in Siem Reap while he was net fishing. He was a tuk-tuk driver and said that he spends most afternoons fishing in the river during Angkor’s quiet season. He didn’t catch a lot but I got the feeling that that didn’t matter. A lot like photography I suppose.

Cycled since I was a kid, moved to Japan in 2001, bought my first 'serious' camera in 2005. Spent the later half of the 1990s travelling in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Nepal, Japan, and the Philippines and wish I'd photographed a lot more back then.
