Life: Quieter Places

Spring is when schools, parks, and quaint Japanese bridges surrounded by cherry blossom are usually thriving with people welcoming the new school year. It’s sobering to realize that it hasn’t felt this quiet since the Fukushima disaster.

Based in Japan since 2001 I spend free days adventuring into the mountainous regions of central Honshu and occasionally Hokkaido. In 2021, I plan to slow down and talk to more people. Feel free to email me.
